Oh, the weather outside is frightful, and so is everybody's favorite holiday demon, the Krampus. Our ode to this beastly companion to Saint Nicholas is a heady mix of red wine, autumn spices, figs, citrus, and smoke.
All of our candles are hand-poured at our workshop using pure high quality 100% US-grown sustainable soy wax and lead-free eco-cotton wicks. Our fragrances never contain any parabens, pthalates, or acetones.
The Krampus
In recent years, the Krampus has been appearing more and more in connection to Christmas, leaving many to wonder what this strange wintertime demon is all about. It just so happens that has been long-associated with Santa's predecessor, Saint Nicholas. He's the Mr. Hyde to Saint Nick's Dr. Jekyll. While the jolly old Saint Nick is famed for giving presents to good children, the Krampus instead beats bad children with a reed, throws them in a basket, and kidnaps them. It makes a lump of coal seem less disappointing, when you think about it.
